This is SmartPadelChoice — and this is how it all started.
My name is Pablo Ramos, I’m 25 years old, and I’ve been playing padel since I was 17. For years, every time I wanted to replace my racket, I ended up in the same place: lost between YouTube reviews, technical specs that made no sense, and sellers recommending whatever gave them the biggest margin.
One day, I paid more than €200 for a racket that was supposed to be perfect for my level. Three weeks later, I knew I had made the wrong choice. It was too hard, it overloaded my elbow, and it didn’t perform the way I expected.
That was the moment I decided this had to change. If I had had a tool that could analyze my real level, my playing style, and the condition of my arm, I would never have made that decision. So I built it.
SmartPadelChoice is the filter I never had. An AI trained on real data from more than 91 rackets that analyzes your profile in 60 seconds and gives you the exact 3 options for you. No ads. No commissions influencing the result.
What is SmartPadelChoice?
SmartPadelChoice is an intelligent recommendation engine built for one purpose: to make sure you never buy a padel racket blindly again.
We are not a store. We are not a review magazine. We are an analysis tool that combines real technical data from more than 91 rackets with your player profile to give you exactly the 3 options that truly fit you — and only those.
Why does SmartPadelChoice exist?
The padel racket market has exploded. Today, there are more than 400 models available, with prices ranging from €30 to €400, and the difference between them is not always obvious.
80% of players use a racket that does not match their level or playing style. Not because they are bad buyers, but because the information they find online is designed to sell — not to guide.
We change that. SmartPadelChoice filters out the noise, ignores brand hype, and tells you directly: this is your racket, and this is why.
How we analyze rackets
Every racket in our database is evaluated using 12 technical parameters: core hardness and density, foam type, shape geometry (round, teardrop, or diamond), surface stiffness, balance, weight, and real vibration absorption data.
When you take the test, our algorithm matches your profile — level, playing style, physical condition, and joint sensitivity — against those parameters and calculates the real compatibility between you and each racket. The result is a Top 3 ranked by match percentage, with a clear explanation of why each one fits you.
Where we are going
We started in Spanish, focusing on the market we knew best. Today, SmartPadelChoice is already available in English, and we continue expanding the database with the latest releases from the international market.
Our long-term goal is simple: to help any player in the world, regardless of level or budget, make the best possible decision before buying a racket. No ads. No hidden agenda. Just data.
